What BUMC Means To Me


I asked the question: What does BUMC mean to you? Here are some of the responses.
  1. A place to grow spiritual and in faith (the most common answer)
  2. A place to come to feed my soul.
  3. Though always changing and growing, BUMC represents consistency and stability.
  4. Help with prayer. Someone here is always willing to help with prayer.
  5. A place to learn and grow with people I would have never had the chance to meet anywhere else.
  6. Community of loving, spiritual friends with common beliefs and values
  7. Provides an extended family. A place of emotional and spiritual support.
  8. A place to worship and to have my children grow spiritually.
  9. This church has brought me closer to God, given me a sense of home. Growing up I did not feel comfortable at church. At BUMC I feel like I belong here.
  10. I have developed many friendships that would not have been possible without this church and Sunday school class.
